HARRISON, NJ (Thursday, October 31, 2024) –. NJ/NY Gotham FC will face the Utah Royals in its final regular season match on Friday, Nov. 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET in Sandy, Utah (NWSL+).

Gotham FC has been the best team in the NWSL in terms of points since the beginning of May, having won 15 of 20 matchups including its current seven game regular season unbeaten streak. The club has earned 48 points in the timespend, which ranks first in the league. 

In Gotham FC’s last regular season match, the team defeated the Orlando Pride 3-1. Defender Sam Hiatt scored early in the 13th minute, with two other goals coming from midfielder Rose Lavelle in the 45th and forward Ella Stevens in the 49th. 

The Utah Royals are on an unbeaten streak of its own, going undefeated in its last four matches. The team's last loss came against Gotham FC on Sept. 22, with Gotham FC prevailing 1-0 on an early third minute goal from forward Yazmeen Ryan. 

In the league standings, Gotham FC clinched a home playoff game, which will take place on Nov. 10. The club currently ranks third, tied in points with the Washington Spirit at 53 points. Utah sits 10th in the table.
