BIOGRAPHY

PROFESSIONAL:
2023: Freeman appeared in 10 matches and recorded six starts. She helped the team that drafted her to its first 2023 NWSL Championship title.

2022: Freeman appeared in 17 matches with 16 starts during the 2022 season.

2021: Throughout the regular season she played in 11 matches, making eight starts. During these matches she posted 31 clearances and had an 85.7% passing rate. Throughout her four appearances in the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup she totaled 20 clearances, five blocks, and four interceptions.

2020: Freeman created nine clearances, three blocks and three interceptions in her four appearances for the 2020 NWSL Fall Series.

2019: Freeman made no appearances this season due to injury.

2018: Throughout her 21 appearances Freeman totaled 65 clearances, 15 blocks and 40 interceptions.

2017: Freeman was selected Number 10 overall pick in 2017 NWSL College Draft. She made her NWSL debut this season with 21 appearances. During these matches, she made one assist, and had 71 clearances, 14 blocks, and 42 interceptions.

COLLEGE:
2013-16: Freeman played for University of Southern California, where she made 69 appearances, with 67 starts, scoring two goals and adding nine assists. In 2016, she was a NCAA Champion and named Pac-
12 Defensive Player of the Year. Freeman was also named to the 2015 NSCAA All-Pacific Region Second Team and was a Three-time Pac-12 selection.

INTERNATIONAL:
Freeman represented the United States on the U-23, U-20, and U-17 Women’s National Teams. She was a member of the U-17 World Cup Qualifying team.

PERSONAL:
Known for her game day outfits, Freeman loves to thrift shop and has a great passion for fashion. Mandy Freeman is a seven-year NWSL veteran and has spent all seven seasons with Gotham FC, since being draft 10th overall by the club in the 2017 NWSL Draft. In 2023, she helped bring home the NWSL Championship title to the club that she has spent the entirety of her career with.
