BIOGRAPHY

PROFESSIONAL

2022: Onumonu appeared in 21 matches, scoring three goals and making two assists. 2021: Onumonu made 30 appearances, making 23 starts. She had eight goals and six assists. 2020: In January 2020 Onumonu was traded to NJ-NY. She scored three goals and had one assist in her 10 appearances this season. 2019: Onumonu was signed by Seattle Reign as a National Team Replacement Player in May. She went on to earn a permanent roster spot in June 2019. She scored three goals and had one assist in her 21 appearances. 2018: She was selected by Portland Thorns in the 2018 NWSL Dispersal Draft. She made eight appearances with the team. 2017: Onumonu was drafted with the No. 8 pick by the Boston Breakers in 2017 NWSL College Draft. She had one assist in 18 appearances.

COLLEGE 

Onumonu played at UC-Berkeley from 2012-16. She made 82 appearances, scored 33 goals and had 17 assists in her collegiate career. She ended her college career fourth in assists and fifth in goals in school history. She was named to the 2016 All-Pac-12 First Team, NSCAA All-Pacific selection three-times, 2013 All-Pac-12 Second Team, NSCAA All-Pacific Third Team, Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and All-Pac-12 First Team.

INTERNATIONAL

2023: Onumonu participated in the Revelations Cup in Guanajuato, with matches against Mexico, Columbia and Costa Rica. Onumonu has two goals in ten appearances with her national team. 2022: Onumonu participated in the second round of the Women's African Cup of Nations Qualifying. 2021: Onumonu earned her first call up to the Nigerian Women’s National Team. She was on the squad for three international friendly matches as a part of the U.S. Soccer's Summer Series. Onumonu previously represented the United States on the U-23 Women’s National Team.
