BIOGRAPHY

PROFESSIONAL

2022: Smith started in 13 out of the 14 matches she appeared in for Gotham FC. She scored two goals and had one assist. 2021: Smith returned to the North Carolina Courage where she made 13 appearances and tallied one assist. 2019-20: Smith joined OL Reign, but was out due to injury (ACL). 2018: Smith was traded to the Washington Spirit, where she started and played in 23 games for the team. In October of this year, Smith signed with the Newcastle Jets on loan for the 2018-19 W-League season. She made six appearances with the team, earning the team's Player of the Month honors. 2017: In 2017 Western New York Flash relocated to North Carolina Courage. Here, Smith made 24 appearances helping the Courage to win the Community Shield and return to the NWSL championship game. 2016: Smith was named to the Western New York Flash opening day roster this season. She made 18 appearances with the club, and scored two goals. She helped the club win the 2016 NWSL Championship.

COLLEGE

Smith played at UCLA from 2012-15. She started in 80 out of the 87 matches she appeared in, scoring 27 goals and making 22 assists throughout her collegiate career. She captained the UCLA Bruins team in 2015, was named to the 2014 Second-Team All-Pac-12. She helped the Bruins win their first NCAA D1 College Cup title in 2013 and was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2012.

INTERNATIONAL

2018: Smith was named to the USWNT roster for the 2018 SheBelieves Cup. She started for two of the matches during the tournament, making her a 2018 SheBelieves Cup Champion. 2017: Smith earned her first call into training camp with the USWNT. She earned her first cap in July 2017, during the 2017 Tournament of Nations.
