2025 (Gotham FC): Started and played in every match this season across all competitions. Set a new club record with her 21st career goalkeeper win, surpassing Kailen Sheridan (20) in 45 fewer games. On June 21 against Bay FC, she also passed Jill Loyden (90) for third in club history in saves with 94. Recorded her 10th career regular-season clean sheet on April 18 against Angel City FC. 2024 (Gotham FC): Started and played in 22 matches, recording 67 saves with an 80.72% save percentage, the second-best in club history. Also posted a club-record 0.727 goals against average and registered eight clean sheets. Named the 2024 NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year and made the NWSL Best XI. 2023-24 (Chelsea FC): Made five starts in the 2023-24 WSL season, recording 14 saves and two clean sheets with a 4-1-0 record. 2022-23 (Chelsea FC): In 15 appearances for Chelsea, logged 1,350 minutes, made 33 saves and kept eight clean sheets, contributing to the club's fourth consecutive WSL title. 2021-22 (Chelsea FC): Appeared in 14 WSL matches, recording 24 saves and eight shutouts. 2020-21 (Chelsea FC): In 17 starts, collected 24 saves and 12 clean sheets, winning the Golden Glove and helping Chelsea secure the WSL title on the final day. 2019-20 (Chelsea FC): In her first full season with Chelsea, played 13 matches, made 44 saves and accumulated 1,170 minutes of play. 2018-19 (Chelsea FC/Birmingham City): Transferred to Chelsea midseason from Birmingham City. In her time that season with Birmingham City, she played eight matches, recording 26 saves and six shutouts. 2017-18 (Birmingham City): Played 14 matches, recording seven shutouts and a 7-4-3 record. 2014-16 (Paris Saint-Germain): Made 22 appearances across all competitions. 2011-14 (1. FFC Turbine Potsdam): In the Frauen-Bundesliga, featured in 19 league matches and won the 2012 league title. 2009-11 (VfL Sindelfingen): Spent two seasons with the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga side, making 26 appearances.
INTERNATIONAL
2024: Berger represented Germany at the 2024 Summer Olympics, starting in all six matches. In the quarterfinal against Canada, she saved two consecutive penalty kicks, helping Germany advance. Berger also kept a clean sheet in the bronze medal match against Spain, securing a medal for her country. 2023: Berger was named to Germany's squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. 2022: Berger was part of the German squad that finished as runner-up at UEFA Women’s Euro. 2020: Berger made her national team debut on December 1 in a UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifying match against the Republic of Ireland. 2018: Berger received her first call-up to the German national team in November.
