ED NALBANDIAN

NWSL ALTERNATE GOVERNOR & CLUB BOARD MEMBER

A lifelong soccer enthusiast, Ed Nalbandian joined Gotham FC’s ownership group in January 2020. He is a former high school, collegiate, and semi-professional player; a former professional soccer coach, and a devoted NWSL, Major League Soccer, and Premier League fan.

Ed works with Carolyn, helping to run the day to day operations of the club, collaborating closely with General Manager and Head of Soccer Operations Yael Averbuch West, as well as other senior leaders.

Ed comes to Gotham FC with more than thirty-five years of executive experience. He served as a successful CEO of three IT services companies; held executive roles at IBM, AT&T, Cognizant, and Avaya, and was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2003.  He authored the acclaimed IT services book, “The Managed Services Playbook,” and was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Technology Services Industry Association’s Managed Services division.

Ed earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He and his wife of 30 years, Tracy, have two children, Kellie and Eric.
