Carter: 'I've Grown in Confidence' with Gotham FC

Gotham FC defender and team leader Jess Carter spoke to media ahead of an important match Sunday night at Bay FC, talking at length about her experience in the NWSL since joining Gotham FC last summer. "It's been really amazing for me," Carter said. "The growth for the team has been great. We've had a turbulent start to the season, but I've grown in confidence with this team to help try and lead and give some of my expertise from what I've learned. But I'm also still learning a lot with the players that I play with."
