Emily Sonnett: 'Every Game Super Exciting' in NWSL Playoff Push

Gotham FC defender Emily Sonnett met with media to preview her team's much-anticipated NWSL regular season matchup at Kansas City, a pairing of two of the league's three best teams as the NWSL playoffs fast approach. "I don't remember the last time the standings at the end of the year felt this exciting, just with how tight it is," Sonnett said. "You can call it the middle, but it’s really a big chunk of teams. I think there are a lot of teams playing like they really want to be in the playoffs, which makes every game super exciting."
