Esther González: Happy to Register First NWSL Assist in 2025

Gotham FC striker Esther González logged her first assist of the 2025 NWSL season with a helper to Rose Lavelle in a 1-1 draw at Bay FC. The assist nudged González closer to NWSL Golden Boot leader Temwa Chawinga on the tiebreaker (assists) that has helped Chawinga nudge ahead of González each time the two are level on goals.
