JERSEY CITY, N.J. (Oct. 1, 2026) – Gotham FC forward Jordynn Dudley has been named the NWSL Rookie of the Month for September, presented by Ally, the league announced Thursday.
Dudley scored two goals across four starts in September, including the first two-goal performance of her professional career to lead Gotham FC to a dramatic 2-1 road victory over the North Carolina Courage.
Across four matches during the month, Dudley recorded eight shots, putting five on target, while winning 11 fouls, tied for second-most in the NWSL. She also completed seven dribbles, tied for fourth-most in the league.
The honor marks Dudley’s second NWSL Rookie of the Month award after she also earned the recognition in April. She becomes the second player in club history to win the award twice, joining Jenna Nighswonger, who accomplished the feat in 2023.
Dudley has recorded four goals and three assists during the 2026 NWSL regular season. She also scored in Gotham FC’s 2-0 victory over the Kansas City Current in the 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup in June, helping the club capture its first NWSL Challenge Cup.
