Three Gotham FC Players Selected for U.S. U-23 National Team Camp

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (Sept. 30, 2026) – Three Gotham FC players have been named to the 24-player U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team roster for an October training camp at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Goalkeeper Teagan Wy, midfielder Jaedyn Shaw and forward Jordynn Dudley will represent the United States during the Oct. 5-13 camp, which will conclude with two matches against the Dominican Republic U-23 Women’s National Team.

Gotham FC is one of five NWSL clubs with three players selected to the roster.

Shaw brings the most senior international experience of any player on the U-23 roster with 37 U.S. Women’s National Team caps. The 21-year-old has also led Gotham FC's attack this season, pacing the club with nine goals and five assists in the 2026 NWSL regular season. Shaw has recorded four goal contributions in her last three matches, including a brace in Gotham’s most recent match against Chicago Stars FC. With the performance, Shaw became the youngest player in NWSL history to reach 25 regular season goals at 21 years, 309 days old, surpassing Sophia Wilson, who reached the mark at 22 years, 317 days old.

Dudley has made an immediate impact in her rookie season with Gotham FC, recording four goals and three assists in regular season play. The forward was named NWSL Rookie of the Month in April and scored in Gotham FC’s 2-0 victory over the Kansas City Current in the 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup, earning her first trophy as a professional.

Wy earns her first U-23 national team call-up during her rookie season with Gotham FC. The goalkeeper previously represented the United States at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, playing every minute as the U.S. finished third. Wy made a penalty shootout save against Germany in the quarterfinals, helping send the United States to the semifinals. She has yet to make her Gotham FC debut.

The U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team will train alongside the senior USWNT during the camp before facing the Dominican Republic U-23 Women’s National Team on Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m. ET and again Oct. 13 at noon ET. Both matches will be played at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville.
