Gotham FC 5-Year deal with Red Bull Arena

Harrison, NJ (September 13, 2022) – NJ/NY Gotham FC and Red Bull Arena have reached an agreement for Gotham FC to play home matches at the arena with this multiyear deal.

“Gotham FC has been a tremendous partner and we are thrilled that they will continue to call Red Bull Arena their home,” said Marc de Grandpré, General Manager, New York Red Bulls. “They continue to make an impact on the growth of soccer in the Tri-State area and we are proud to support them.”

In celebration of this extended partnership, NJ/NY Gotham FC and New York Red Bulls are offering a combo ticket package for both club’s Fan Appreciation Night matches this October. As part of a $59 bundle, you can see Gotham FC vs. the Portland Thorns on Saturday, Oct. 1, and Red Bulls vs. Charlotte FC on Sunday, Oct. 9 – both at home at Red Bull Arena. Located in Harrison, NJ Red Bull Arena is one of the premier soccer-specific venues in North America. The venue has hosted numerous international events, including the U.S. Women’s and Men’s National Teams, an MLS All-Star Game against Manchester United, and high-profile clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.

Originally named Sky Blue FC, the club underwent a major rebrand in April 2021 and officially changed its name to NJ/NY Gotham FC. Representing New Jersey and New York, the club plays its National Women’s Soccer League home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. The Club has been part of the NWSL since the league launched in 2013. Founded in 2007, Gotham FC originally debuted as Jersey Sky Blue in the W-League of United Soccer Leagues. The Club won its first trophy as Sky Blue FC in 2009 after winning the inaugural Women’s Professional Soccer championship. Most recently, Gotham FC played in the 2021 Challenge Cup Final against the Portland Thorns, the club’s first ever championship appearance in NWSL competition.


Built in 2010, Red Bull Arena is the home of the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer and Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League. The Harrison, NJ-based stadium has also hosted some of the top soccer clubs in the world including FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC, Manchester United, Manchester City FC, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, SL Benfica, Club America, Paris Saint Germain, AS Roma and Juventus as well as international squads including the United States Men’s and Women’s National Teams, Ecuador, Colombia, Czech Republic and Turkey.  The Sports Turf Management Association named Red Bull Arena the "2021 Professional Soccer Field of the Year" and the venue has twice been selected as J.D. Power's "Best in Fan Experience" from all New York/New Jersey professional sports and entertainment facilities.
