HARRISON, NJ (Monday, December 23, 2024) - NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced that the club has signed forward Sarah Schupansky to a multi-year contract through 2026, with a team option for 2027.

“I could not be more honored or excited to be joining such an amazing club,” said Schupansky. “2025 is going to be one special year and I can not wait to get started.”

Schupansky joins the club after completing her senior year at the University of Pittsburgh, where as captain, she led the NCAA in assists for the 2024 season, with 15. In 2023, she became the first player in program history to be named to the All-ACC First Team, collecting 11 goals and 14 assists that year.

“Sarah is an extremely talented player who is ready to take the next step into the professional game,” said Gotham FC General Manager and Head of Soccer Operations Yael Averbuch West. “She is a versatile player who can play as a midfielder or as a winger. We look forward to having Sarah join the club.”

The Pittsburgh native finished her college career with 32 goals and 43 assists in 82 games played.
