HOW DO NWSL PLAYOFFS WORK?

The top 8 teams in the league qualify for playoffs. For quarterfinals, the top 4 teams host on their home turf. The 1st place team hosts the 8th place team, the 2nd place team hosts the 7th place team, and so on. From there, the top 2 surviving teams host the next weekend for semifinals. Then, the final 2 head to the championship, which this year is Saturday, November 21st at Audi Field in Washington, DC.
