Azzaya Johnson

Azzaya Johnson joined Gotham FC in June 2023 as the club’s home operations coordinator. In her role, Johnson oversees daily logistics and operational tasks and supports the execution of all team-related activities, including training operations, matchday logistics and serving as the primary point of contact for visiting teams on matchdays. She also provides administrative support across departments to ensure seamless behind-the-scenes execution.

Prior to Gotham FC, Johnson worked as a student manager for Baylor University softball. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing with a concentration in sports, strategy and sales from Baylor University and has more than two years of professional experience in soccer operations.

Johnson approaches her work with flexibility and creativity, prioritizing clear and timely communication to support the team’s performance. A Philadelphia native, she enjoys cooking and baking, crocheting, building Legos and staying active. A fun fact: her name is of Mongolian origin, and she is a dual citizen of the United States and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
