Brody Sams

Brody Sams joined Gotham FC in January 2022 as head goalkeeper coach and brings more than a decade of experience in elite and professional football across both the women’s and men’s games. A native of Australia, he has worked with top-level goalkeepers who have gone on to succeed in professional leagues around the world and at major international competitions, including the Olympics and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

At Gotham FC, Sams plays a central role in building a world-class goalkeeper department, working closely with Ann-Katrin Berger, Shelby Hogan and Ryan Campbell while contributing to the development of future goalkeeper coaches. Known for his commitment to innovation and mentorship, he focuses on creating an environment where goalkeepers and staff are supported, challenged and empowered to grow in pursuit of excellence.
