
Zoë Mattheson joined Gotham FC in January 2025 as the club’s head of analysis. In her role, she supports the technical staff in preparing opposition analysis and detailed game plans, and works closely with players to support their continued development. She brings a decade of experience in performance analysis across women’s and men’s football in England.
Before arriving at Gotham FC, Mattheson spent eight years at Tottenham Hotspur in several roles, including men’s academy analyst, lead women’s analyst and, most recently, head of women’s analysis and recruitment. She previously served as lead academy analyst at Southend United from 2015 to 2016.
Mattheson holds a master’s degree in sports performance analysis from the University of Chichester and a bachelor’s degree in sports development and coaching science from Bournemouth University. She holds a UEFA B license and is working toward her UEFA A license.
A London native, Mattheson values helping players reach their goals and is driven by the opportunity to contribute to their growth. Outside of football, she enjoys following a wide range of sports and takes any chance she can to watch the NBA, WNBA or hockey.
