HARRISON, NJ (May 23, 2023) – NJ/NY Gotham FC is now the top-ranked team in the National Women’s Soccer League, and today, the club announced it has surpassed a ticket-sales milestone, with more than 10,000 sold for Gotham FC’s Pride Night match on June 4 at 5:30 p.m. ET against the San Diego Wave at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

The star-studded matchup will feature U.S. Women’s National Team players on both sides of the pitch, as Gotham FC starting midfielder Kristie Mewis, defender Kelley O’Hara and forward Lynn Williams – who has five goals in eight games – play host to their USWNT compatriots defender Naomi Girma, forward Alex Morgan, and midfielder Taylor Kornieck of the San Diego Wave.

As Gotham FC is tracking to fill the entire 11,000-seat lower bowl, the club has officially opened additional inventory in the upper bowl for the first time in team history.

Fans can purchase ticket here to be a part of this historic moment, which will also serve as the club’s official Pride celebration. Highlights of the matchday experience will include the Gotham FC Fan Fest presented by CarMax, beginning at 3 p.m., followed by the newly inaugurated pregame tradition of the Torch Lighting Ceremony right before kickoff.

Gotham FC’s growing ticket sales for the June 4 match have surpassed the club’s previous all-time record of 9,500 tickets sold, which was set when Gotham FC faced OL Reign on Aug. 18, 2019.
