COLLEGE
Kitahata capped an exceptional collegiate career at Stanford as one of the most accomplished attacking players in program history, appearing in 99 matches and totaling 39 goals and 32 assists for 110 career points. Named team captain in 2024, she helped lead the Cardinal to three consecutive College Cup appearances from 2023-25, captaining the team during its College Cup runs in 2024 and 2025, and played a central role in Stanford’s 2022 Pac-12 championship season. Kitahata’s senior campaign in 2025 was her most decorated, as she earned All-ACC First Team honors, United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team recognition and TopDrawerSoccer Best XI Second Team accolades while helping guide Stanford to both the ACC regular-season and ACC Tournament titles. She was named to the ACC Championship All-Tournament Team and earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 21, 2025. Over the course of her career, Kitahata collected multiple national weekly honors, was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection and finished her time on ‘The Farm’ ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in assists, goals, points and shots.
INTERNATIONAL
Kitahata has represented the United States at multiple levels within the youth national team system, including the U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams. At the U-20 level, she helped the United States capture the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship in 2022, scoring seven goals in six matches to earn the tournament’s Silver Boot, before later competing at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
