COLLEGE
Sommer capped a standout four-year career at Butler University as one of the BIG EAST’s premier midfielders. A three-time All-BIG EAST First Team honoree, she earned BIG EAST Co-Midfielder of the Year as a senior while leading the Bulldogs in points, goals, assists, shots and shots on goal. Sommer was one of the league’s most productive attacking midfielders throughout her tenure, finishing top five in the conference multiple seasons and twice earning BIG EAST weekly honors. Her junior year was one of the most prolific in program history, highlighted by 11 goals, seven assists and a league-best 1.53 points per game, while her sophomore campaign featured a hat trick against IUPUI and six assists. As a freshman, she was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Year after posting 14 points and ranking among the conference leaders in shot accuracy. A consistent two-way presence and three-time CSC Academic All-District selection, Sommer started 71 matches for the Bulldogs and delivered numerous game-winning performances across her collegiate career.
INTERNATIONAL
Sommer is a senior international for Israel, where she has become an emerging attacking presence. Recently, in the 2025 UEFA Nations League, she started four matches and delivered three goals and two assists in games against Bulgaria and Estonia.
