Gotham FC Visits North Carolina Aiming to Move Closer to NWSL Playoff Berth

CARY, N.C. (Sept. 18, 2026) - NWSL-leading Gotham FC travels to North Carolina this weekend for a matchup between the league’s top defense and top offense, with Gotham FC looking to move closer to clinching a fourth consecutive playoff appearance.

The Courage (12-9-3, 39 points) enters the weekend in fifth place following a 2-1 loss at San Diego Wave FC on Saturday, its second defeat in three matches.
