Key Notes

  • This will be the first meeting between the Utah Royals and Gotham FC since Utah’s return to NWSL play this year. Gotham FC has won 11 of its last 15 regular season matches (D2, L2) and now sits on 40 points through 20games. The only reigning champion with more points after 20 matches of a season was the Courage in 2017 (42) after having relocated after winning the 2016 title as Western New York Flash.
  • Gotham FC has allowed multiple goals only three times all regular season, tied for the fewest such games in the NWSL in 2024 (Orlando). Only three teams in league history have gone a full season al- lowing just three multi-goal games all year: Houston in 2023, North Carolina in 2018 and Seattle in 2014.
