2021: Made 16 appearances, including 14 starts during regular season… Had 77.4% passing rate, made 28 clears and made 22 interceptions… Two assists, six key passes, in five appearances for 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup 2020: 88% passing success rate in four appearances for 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup… Five key passes, 87.8% passing success rate in four appearances for 2020 Fall Series 2019: Two goals, 22 key passes in 23 appearances 2018: Drafted by Sky Blue FC as 5th overall pick in 2018 NWSL College Draft… Named 2018 NWSL Rookie of the Year with four goals, one assist in 13 appearances.

The defender signs two-year deal and will remain with the club through the 2023 season

NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League announced today that defender Imani Dorsey will return to the club on a two-year contract. Dorsey was drafted fifth overall by Gotham FC (then Sky Blue FC) out of Duke University in the 2018 NWSL Draft. During that season, she scored four goals and added one assist and went on to be named Rookie of the Year.

NJ/NY Gotham FC defender Imani Dorsey was added to the U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the two November friendlies in Australia and will join Gotham FC teammate Margaret “Midge” Purce in camp. The call up will provide additional depth to the outside back position and will bring the total roster to 23 players.
