CALI, COLOMBIA (Thursday, February 29, 2024) – To close out the team’s preseason trip in Cali, Colombia, NJ/NY Gotham FC will face off against familiar foe Racing Louisville in the final of The Women’s Cup Colombia on Friday, March 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

On Tuesday night, Gotham FC secured the 1-0 victory over Deportivo Cali. The club’s lone goal came at the death of the semifinal match. Defender Maitane and midfielder Delanie Sheehan cleverly combined down the flank, where Sheehan drove a ball across goal. The ball deflected and found Gotham FC non-rostered invitee McKenna Whitham, who buried the shot first time.

Racing Louisville won 2-0 in its semifinal match against América de Cali, when Jordan Baggett and Savannah DeMelo both found the back of the net. The two NWSL teams will close out the tournament on Friday and continue preparations for the NWSL regular season.
