BIOGRAPHY

PROFESSIONAL:
2023: Edmonds started in 12 of the 14 games she appeared in the regular season, logging 1,038 minutes. She recorded an assist in a 2-2 draw versus the Kansas City Current on Oct. 15. Additionally, Edmonds became the 22nd player in NWSL history to appear in 175 games in all competitions with her start against the Houston Dash on Oct. 1. She also appeared in the quarterfinals and the semifinals of the 2023 NWSL Playoffs, where helped the club to its first NWSL Championship.

2021-22: Edmonds was traded to Kansas City Current in 2021. During her first season with the team, Edmonds led the team in starts (21) and minutes played (1,721) and served as captain for six matches. Edmonds started 44 matches over the last two seasons for Kansas City, including all three playoff matches in the Current’s run to the NWSL Final in 2022.

2016-20: Edmonds played five seasons with the Orlando Pride. She scored 10 goals in her 72 appearances. During her first season with the club, she led Orlando in both scoring and assists, with six goals and two assists. She was also named NWSL Player of the Week during her first season in Orlando.

2014-15: Edmonds started her NWSL career with the Western New York Flash, making 29 starts in 31 appearances over two seasons.

2012-13: She played for WFC Rossiyanka of the Russian Premier League, competing with the club in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

2011:
Edmonds began her professional career in Iceland, leading Stjarnin to the league title and the Icelandic Women’s Cup Championship in 2011.

COLLEGE:
2005-08: Edmonds played collegiately at Rutgers University. In her freshman year, she became the first rookie to lead the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in scoring since Carli Lloyd, with six goals and six assists. She was named to the SoccerBuzz All-Region Freshman First Team As a senior, she started all 22 matches, scoring five goals and adding six assists.

INTERNATIONAL:
Edmonds was called up to United States women's national soccer team training camp.

PERSONAL:
