BIOGRAPHY

PROFESSIONAL:
2023: Smith appeared and started in 15 matches in the 2023 regular season, recording 44 saves and a save percentage of 74.6%. She helped Gotham FC to a sixth-place finish in the table, which eventually
led to the 2023 NWSL Championship title – her second straight title. She also earned Save of the Week honors for Weeks 4, 5, 10, 14, and 15. Her season was cut short when she suffered a season-ending
injury.

2022: Smith was a member of the NWSL championship team, the Portland Thorns. She earned her first regular-season start with the Thorns against North Carolina on Aug. 24. 2022. Made her Thorns FC
debut, logging seven saves and a shutout against San Diego on March 26.

2021: Smith helped KC Current win their first match and recorded a shutout against OL Reign. She appeared in six matches and made six starts for KC Current. Smith was traded to Portland Thorns in
August 2021, making her a 2021 Women's International Cup Champion, and a 2021 NWSL Shield recipient.

2019: Smith joined Western Sydney Wanderers FC in Australia on loan from Utah for the 2019-2020 Westfield W-League season. She made nine appearances with the team.

2018: Acquired by Utah Royals FC in the NWSL Dispersal Draft where she started in 17 matches and played a total of 1,512 minutes. Smith registered six shutouts and caught 31 saves with a 1.0 goals
against average. She was selected for NWSL Team of the Month in May.

2017: After returning from injury, Smith appeared in 19 matches with the Boston Breakers and finished fifth in the league for saves per shot (73%), recording 86 saves.

2016: Smith was selected in the third round of 2016 NWSL College Draft by the Boston Breakers. She appeared in two matches before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

COLLEGE:
2012-15: Smith played at the University of Texas, where she made 60 appearances and scored three goals. She set a record for a Texas rookie with the lowest goals-against average at 0.63 and tied the school record for shutouts by a freshman with seven during her first year. She tied the school record for the most shutouts in a single season with nine. She ranked first in the Big 12 Conference for 0.92 goals-against average and 98 saves during her junior year and again in her senior year for total saves with 96 and saves-per-match with 5.33. She was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week, ESPNW Player of the Week and the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week twice. Her 30th career shutout set a new school career shutout record.

INTERNATIONAL:
Smith has represented the United States on the U-17, U-20, U-23 and senior national teams. In 2017, she was called up to the U.S. National Team for friendlies against Sweden and Norway.

PERSONAL:
In 2023, Smith was one of four finalists for the Community Impact Award presented by Nationwide for her work with Playworks. Playworks New York/New Jersey serves low-income schools across the area through year-round, on-site support services. Each of the 12 NWSL Clubs partnered with Nationwide to select one season-long community partner in 2023.
